See art come to life in the largest immersive art centre in the Netherlands – Fabrique des Lumières – housed in the former 19th century gasworks in Westergas. In a large industrial space with walls up to 17 metres high, immersive exhibitions of classical, modern and contemporary artists are on display. Using advanced technology, the artworks are brought to life by 100+ state-of-the-art projectors and accompanying music.

The new immersive special exhibition The Sea invites explorers of all ages to take a unique look beneath the surface of the oceans and their many inhabitants. Over 70 per cent of our planet is covered by vast expanses of water, which we call oceans. Beneath their surface lies a fascinating world, the discovery of which is one of the never-ending tasks of mankind. More than 250,000 species have been recorded so far, and research is constantly bringing new life forms and secrets to light.

Travel back in time to a thousand-year-old civilization. A civilization called the gift of the gods that developed along the Nile: Egypt. See the pyramids built in honor of the pharaohs. Discover how Egyptians dedicated their lives to the gods, hoping to gain access to the afterlife. Their paintings, reliefs, sculptures, jewelry and exceptional architecture tell the impressive story of ancient Egypt. This ticket also gives you access to the exhibition French Orientalist Painters and Foreign Nature.
From Vermeer to Van Gogh, Dutch Masters

This immersive exhibition takes you back to the 17th-century, the golden age of Dutch painters such as Vermeer and Rembrandt capturing the Dutch society with rough seas, scenes of faith and enchanting winter landscapes. In total, more than 325 artworks by some 50 different painters can be admired. Explore the reality of daily life, following the footsteps of the great masters who represented the ordinary in an extraordinary way.
