Stop 1: Dam Square

We kick off at the very heart of Amsterdam—Dam Square. Standing by the National Monument and Royal Palace, we dive into the city’s origins and its identity as a “free city” built on trade, tolerance, and transformation.

Stop 2: Beurs van Berlage

Next up: the world’s first stock exchange. Welcome to the birthplace of capitalism and 17th-century financial wizardry. Learn how this architectural marvel helped Amsterdam become a global powerhouse.

Stop 3: Damrak

At Damrak, just steps from the Red Light District, we mix fun with facts. Time for a fast-paced true-or-false game that tests your knowledge (don’t worry—no pre-knowledge required!). You’ll uncover surprising truths about tolerance, coffeeshops, and other iconic aspects of Amsterdam and Dutch culture. It’s playful, unexpected, and a brilliant way to learn.

Stop 4: Haarlemmersluis

This tour runs daily at 10:00 AM from April through October, with additional tours on Fridays at 3:00 PM and Mondays, Wednesdays & Thursdays at 7:00 PM

Advance booking is required (also for children), as group sizes are limited to 15 persons a group (city regulations). It is not possible to join the tour spontaneously on the spot.
