There’s a festival for everyone in Amsterdam and this weekend’s agenda is suitably packed with art, architecture, theatre and food.

This weekend is your chance to snoop around the lavish back yards of Amsterdam’s private homes. These lush green retreats are also known as the city’s ‘best-kept secrets’ as they are not visible from the streets. The walking route encompasses some of the fanciest canal pads in town including Museum Van Loon and Huis Willet-Holthuysen.
